Founded in 1972, General Industrial Controls Private Limited (GIC) based in Pune, India, is involved in the manufacturing of Process Control, Automation & Instrumentation products. GIC, the first company to launch time switches and timers in India is a market leader in this field.

What started as a small enterprise four decades ago, is now a firm that manufactures an array of world-class products for different segments, addressing various customer needs.

Located in Haigerloch, Germany, Theben since its establishment 1921, has secured a reputation for itself in the world for innovation and technology in KNX home automation and detectors.

Theben has been a member of the KNX Association since 1995 and works with other leading manufacturers in making KNX a worldwide standard. The RAMSES 797 digital clock thermostat was launched in 1984. With its then innovative telephone remote control, it provided the option of using a telephone line to switch on heating, save energy and still come home to a warm house.
